​Cam’s Birthday Bash

​Cam’s favorite way to celebrate his birthday? By throwing a party for local kids who might need a little extra encouragement. Cam knows that while most of us take birthdays and the celebrations that come with them for granted, the milestone goes unrecognized for far too many kids.

​Each year, Cam and The Heyward House treat a special group of kids to a party at Dave & Buster’s. With our partners Gigi's Cupcakes and The Learning Express   the afternoon includes great food, games, presents for the kids, and—best of all—one-one time with Cam and his teammates.  

​His goal: To make sure every child has the chance to feel celebrated and special.

​“I want to celebrate them, celebrate the kids, let them know people care about them, and have some fun with them. Everyone always appreciates it. Sometimes, because of their backgrounds, they have to grow up so fast. We have to let them know that it’s okay to be a kid.”

Cam’s Birthday Bash was started in 2015. Thank you to everyone who helps to make this event a continued success.
